On October 15, 2022, the Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine Regarding Employment of Foreigners and Stateless Persons in Ukraine and Provision of Mediation Services in Employment Abroad" entered into force.

For the most part, the changes are aimed at regulating the provision of administrative services for citizens of the aggressor countries. Also, from October 15, 2022, there will be a change in the payment of the state duty for issuing or extending an employment permit.

1) employment permit issued for a period of up to 6 months - UAH 7,443.

2) employment permit issued for a period of 6 months to 1 year - UAH 12,405.

3) employment permit issued for a period of 1 to 2 years - UAH 19,848.

4) employment permit issued for up to 3 years - UAH 24,810.

 

The cost of payment for the extension of the document is reduced by one living wage depending on the amount of the state duty for issuing the permit for the relevant period. The subsistence minimum as of January 1, 2022 is UAH 2,481.
