The Migration Service is making every effort to reduce the number of illegal immigrants and reduce the level of unregistered work of foreigners and stateless persons.
Vyacheslav Guz noted the importance of the agreements reached: “For a belligerent country, irregular migration additionally poses a threat to national security. Therefore, I believe that it is necessary to prevent this negative phenomenon in a comprehensive manner and at all levels. Since the majority of illegal migrants are sent to Ukraine specifically for the purpose of earning money, the State Labor Service should be interested in cases of economic activity with the illegal use of hired labor of foreigners.I propose to move on to specific joint measures aimed at de-shadowing the labor market and improving control over the formalization of labor relations with hired foreign workers.”
It should be borne in mind that foreigners who have a temporary residence permit or are temporarily staying on the territory of Ukraine are required to apply to one of the employment centers to obtain a work permit for foreigners and stateless persons.
