The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is trying to create comfortable conditions for foreigners living in Ukraine during martial law. Another issue regarding the documents was resolved by resolution No. 1202 "Some issues of the implementation of legislative acts in the field of migration under martial law."

 Installed:

 - a temporary or permanent residence permit, except for those issued to citizens of the Russian Federation, the validity period of which has expired or which are subject to exchange in accordance with the legislation after February 24, 2022, confirm the legal grounds for temporary or permanent residence in Ukraine and the right to enter Ukraine for the military period  provisions and within 30 calendar days from the date of its termination.

 - foreigners or stateless persons, except for citizens of the Russian Federation, are obliged, in accordance with the procedure established by law, to submit documents for the exchange of a temporary or permanent residence permit within 30 calendar days from the date of termination or cancellation of martial law.

 - passports of citizens of Ukraine in the form of a card, whose validity expired 30 days before 02/24/2022 and after 02/24/2022, and passports of a citizen of Ukraine of the 1994 model, in which a photograph of the face was not pasted upon reaching the age of 25 or 45  , the gluing deadline has come 30 days before 02/24/2022 and after, are documents that identify the person and confirm the citizenship of Ukraine and are subject to exchange or gluing new photographs, respectively, of the age reached within 30 calendar days from the date of termination or cancellation of martial law.
