In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 934 dated 01.09.2023, amendments were made to the Rules of crossing the state border by citizens of Ukraine, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 57 dated 27 January 1995.
With regard to crossing the state border of Ukraine, students and cadets of educational institutions who go abroad for practical flight training in foreign educational institutions or aviation schools are regulated by authorised representatives of the State Border Service in accordance with the established rules for crossing the state border of Ukraine and in the presence of the following documents:
- Certificate from a Ukrainian educational institution on sending a student or cadet for practical flight training in a foreign educational institution or aviation school.
- Military registration documents with relevant marks of the district (united district), city (district in cities, united city) territorial centre of manning and social support.
Students and cadets of an educational institution of Ukraine may stay abroad without interruption during the period of practical flight training in foreign educational institutions or aviation schools.
These changes have entered into force.
Border guards now ensure the passage of this particular category of persons across the border, provided that they have the relevant documents confirming that they fulfil the conditions for crossing the border.
