In addition to the general benefits that a volunteer has when carrying out charitable activities, foreign volunteers are entitled to free and priority visa services. The state authorities, which have special powers in matters of humanitarian aid, are obliged to support, together with the recipients of humanitarian aid, the purchase of tickets for foreigners who deliver or accompany humanitarian aid and organize its arrival in Ukraine. An organization that engages a foreigner in volunteer activities is obliged to cover all his financial expenses related to his stay on the territory of Ukraine and abroad in case the organization provides a document of commitment to the foreigner.
