- Valid international passport (original + copy). The passport must remain valid for at least 3 months after the planned departure date. A notarized Ukrainian translation is required.
- Passport-size photos (usually 4 photos, 3.5 × 4.5 cm).
- Document confirming the purpose of stay (for volunteers):
1. A submission letter from a Ukrainian organization or institution involving volunteers (the organization must be listed on the official website of the National Social Service of Ukraine).
2. Certificate of state registration of the organization (the original is returned; a certified copy is submitted).
- Medical insurance policy valid for the stay in Ukraine (recommended coverage starting from EUR 30,000).
- Proof of payment of the administrative fee.
- Proof of residence in Ukraine (registration/address confirmation).
Important: the simplified procedure does not apply to citizens of the Russian Federation.
Where should documents be submitted?
Documents must be submitted to the territorial office of the State Migration Service of Ukraine or to a Center for Administrative Services (CNAP) at the place of residence. Processing time is up to 30 days.
